Madhya Pradesh is central state of India, as the name suggests Madhya means “Central” and state means ‘Region”. It consists of no coastline area or international frontier. The state has bountiful of tourism opportunity, the state offers you the best ever city to explore i.e. Jabalpur resting at the bank of holy river Narmada. Jabalpur is one of the prominent city of Madhya Pradesh, tourists look after to visit. The amalgamation of ancient India and the peaceful nature design the city in whole different beauty, considered as the folklore and the history of India.
Madhya Pradesh is one of the states of India with most admired opportunities of best national parks. Amongst those, two are here; Kanha National Park and Bandhavgarh National Park. Kanha National Park is one of the largest national parks of the state, also known as Kanha Kisli National Park, situated in 940 sq Kms. Best scenes are the Royal Bengal tigers and witness the Bisons strolling freely in the park. However, it is a home to many another wildlife animals as well such as leopard, deers etc.
Another is Bandhavgrah National Park in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, spread in 105 sq kms major scene of Bengal tigers, leopards, birds and another wildlife animals.

Day 01: Arrive in Jabalpur - Kanha National Park by Surface 160 Kms Approx 5 Hrs 

On your own arrive at Jabalpur Railway station, where you will be meet and received by our company representative and transfer to Kanha National Park, it is situated in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the picturesque Kanha National Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's unforgettable classic the “Jungle Book”.  Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: In Kanha National Park (Morning & Afternoon Jungle Safari)

(Wednesday afternoon safari remains closed)
In Kanha enjoy morning and afternoon jungle safari on sharing basis, (if exclusive safari is preferred which will be done using jeeps, for this there will be additional cost).  Kanha Tiger Reserve created in 1974 under Project Tiger. By a special statute in 1955, Kanha National Park came into being. Since then, a series of stringent conservation programs for the protection of the park's flora and fauna have given Kanha its deserved reputation for being one of the finest and best administered National Parks in Asia, an irresistible attraction for all wildlife lovers and a true haven for its animal and avian population. Kanha has approx  22 species of mammals. Those most easily spotted are the Striped Palm Squirrel, Common Langur, Jackal, Wild Pig, Chital or Spotted Deer, Barasingha or Swamp Deer, Sambar and Black Buck. Tiger, Indian Hare, Dhole or Indian Wild Dog, Barking Deer, Indian Bison or Gaur. Patient watching should reward the visitor with a sight of: Indian Fox, Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena, Jungle Cat, Leopard, Mouse Deer, Chausingha or four horned antelope, Nilgai, Ratel and Porcupine.  Kanha also has some 200 species of birds.

Day 03: Kanha N.P –Bandhavgarh National Park – By Surface 250 Kms approx 5-6 Hrs

Today morning enjoy breakfast at your accommodation and leavefor Kanha to another of India’s tiger reserves known as BANDAVGARH National Park. Arrival Bandhavgarh in the evening time. This is a small National Park; compact, yet full of game. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India.

Day 04: In Bandhavgarh National Park (Morning & Afternoon Jungle Safari)

Enjoy thrilling Jungle safari in the morning and afternoon hours. Besides, this is also the “White Tiger” country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. The last known was captured by Maharajah Martand Singh in 1951. This White Tiger, Mohun, is now stuffed and on display in the palace of the Maharajahs of Rewa. The forest of Bandhavgarh can be classified as moist deciduous, and the National Park holds all those animal species, which are typical of this habitat in Central India.Evening you will enjoy wildlife movies and audio video visuals; through these movies you will get information about the Tigers and the park. (Subject to additional cost and availability).

Day 05: Departure from Bandhavgarh to Umaria 

Today morning well in time, we will drive to Bandhavgarh and drop at Umaria Railway Station.

Clothes: It is advisable to wear clothes which cover the arms and legs so that if you come in contact with insects or wild animals, you won’t catch any allergy.

Digital Camera/Extra Batteries: You can experience some of the beautiful and amazing sights so you need to be prepared to capture it in your camera.

Power Bank: Your camera, phones need to be kept powered while experiencing beautiful jungle life so doesn’t forget to carry power banks.

Sunscreen: It is very important to carry a good sunscreen to protect your skin while safari.

Binoculars: Animals are generally far out in the fields, many times you need to spot them from a distance so you can carry a good quality binoculars with you.

Medications: While going in jungle, you need to be very careful about protecting yourself from diseases like Malaria and other so carry medicines which will be needed while your tour.

Hat: A comfortable hat will help a lot in protection from the sun, so don't forget to carry a hat with you.

Footwear: A good pair of water proof sports shoes is must.

Here is what the tour fee includes:

1. Accommodation – Accommodation will be provided in standard category hotel, using standard room on triple sharing basis, in case of non-availability of rooms at the time of reservation, we shall accommodate our guests in alternative similar category hotel. In case any clients want to stay in the mentioned hotel, we will be happy to upgrade the room category which may result in additional cost to be borne by the client.

2. Meals – Kindly go through the detailed itinerary, as meals will be provided according to the mentions in each respective itinerary (meals are provided on fixed menu on buffet basis).

3. Transportation – We generally use transportation depending on number of person booked for the tour under following category:-
For 2-4 Person – Sedan car in AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 05 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Toyota Innova / Xylo Car AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 06-08 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Tempo Traveller 
For 09-12 Person – Tempo Traveller 
For 13+ - Mini Bus / 26 seated tempo 

Note:  Transport Fuels, toll, parking, and State tax are included.
a. In case of half day – It will be only 40 Kms / 4 Hrs 
b. In case of full day – it will be only 80 Kms / 8 Hrs  
c. There will be per kms / per hour additional charges crossing the above limit.

4. Guide – The Cost include fee of only local city / monuments guide only for sightseeing (if we required we will be happy to hire accompanied guide however at additional cost.)

5. For Wildlife Tour – Jungle Safaris are organized in Canter Safari on sharing basis (if required exclusive safari on non-sharing basis, we will be happy to book the same using Open Jeeps for all Jungle Safari, however at additional costs.) 

6. Forest Permits and Permission – While in National Parks / Wild life Sanctuary, all forest permits and fees are included.  

Here is what the tour fee not include: 

1. Mandatory GST of 5% on Invoice Amount 

2. Any kind of Travel / Health Insurance (Trekveda strictly recommend each traveller to please carry your own travel / health insurance)

3. Any specific Meals /Snacks / Beverages in during trip unless mentioned in cost include section

4. Any of Cost for Airfare, Train fare / or any kind of transportation reaching / departing from destination. (Can be arranged on request and at additional cost)

5. Any kind of medical expenses 

6. Any tips, laundry, Phone call, liquors, mineral water, camera fee or any other personal nature expenses.

7. Any other fee / charges not mentioned in the cost included section

Terms and Conditions

Confirmation Policy:

1. Payment can be done in parts.

2. After making your advance payment, you will get a confirmation email.

3. Once you make the 100% payment for your booking, you'll get the booking voucher containing all the information about your tour.

Payment Terms Policy:

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 15 days before the date of travel.

Cancellation Policy & Charges

Cancelling a trip is like a real pain when you have been dreaming of it since a long time. But, to resolve it and to lesser your disappointment. We have a user-friendly cancellation policy for you. If you or any member of your group wants to cancel a booking, then you should notify us as soon as possible. You can notify us by phone, email or in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received by us and will be effective from the date on which we receive it. If one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price of those still travelling and you will be liable to pay this increase. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:
1. If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
2. If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 
3. If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 75.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 
4. If cancellation are made 0 days to 7 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 

How to cancel your Tour?
We don't want you to get into any situation where you need to cancel your tour, but sometimes things don't work the way we want. So no worries we have a most comfortable way for you.

1. Drop an email on cancel@trekveda.com.

2. Inform your tour expert about your cancellation and a reason for the same. Then they will help you with the futhure process.

What is Tour Voucher?

Tour voucher is your credit amount at Trekveda that you can redeem by tour in future with us within 1 year.

How to use Tour Voucher?
You can get in touch with our tour expert on given numbers 9821325153/54/56. They will help you in the redemption of your voucher.

Voucher Terms and condition:-

1. The vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
2. Unused values will not be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.
3. The vouchers can be redeemed against any Tour / Trek operated by Trekveda, the rates will be applicable as on day.
4. The vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund.
5. The Voucher can be transferred to your family members / friends, at a reduction of 45%.
6. The voucher can be redeemed for any Tour / Trek before 15 days of travel date, the base rates as on date will be applicable.
7. The voucher can be extended  30 days prior expiry date, for 03 months, 06 Month and 12 Month with reduction of 30%, 45%, 60% respectively.
8. Incase tour / trek amount exceeds the value of voucher, balance amount  must be paid by online banking, Google Pay and Paytm.
9. Trekveda reserves the right to cancel a voucher if we deem such action necessary i.e. after expiry date.
10. Trekveda can vary or replace these conditions from time to time (including to introduce new fees)

Note- The voucher is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable.

Other Tour Policies

1. Trekveda shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary, Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by “Force Majeure”, meaning any event beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, government action; industrial dispute; lock closure; natural or other disaster; nuclear incident; terrorist activity; chemical or biological disaster; closure of airports; fire; flood; drought; re-scheduling; or cancellation of flights or alteration of the airline; or aircraft type by an airline and unavoidable technical problems and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control

2. If  there  is  any  unprecedented  hike  in  the  cost  of  transport,  Local  Union,  Government, Air (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation  made by any parties other than Trekveda. It will also affect the cost. The additional unprecedented cost will be the responsibility of the Client.

3. Please  note  the  quote for these programs has  been  quoted  and  calculated  as  per  the  current  tax  structure,  any changes/ amendments, increase in the tax structure, which will be imposed by the government of India, will affect the quotation and this will be additional cost to be borne by the clients.

4. We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

5. The prices shown on this website are per paying person. We reserve the right to amend the price of unsold holidays at any time and correct errors in the prices of confirmed holidays. 

6. If you are forced to return home early and cut your holiday short we cannot refund the cost of any travel arrangements you have not used. If you cut short your holiday and return home early in circumstances where you have no reasonable cause for complaint about the standard of accommodation and services provided, we will not offer you any refund for that part of your holiday not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. 

7. We start planning your trip many months in advance. Whilst it is unlikely that we will have to cancel your holiday or make changes to it, occasionally we may have to do so, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We also reserve the right to make changes to or correct errors in our tanneries and on our website. If we make an insignificant change to your holiday, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you or your travel agent as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure but we will have no liability to you.

8. For wildlife tours obtain a valid permit before entering the wildlife reserve Park. Don't carry cigarette or match box During the Tiger Safari. Don't smoke or light fire, it can cause forest fire. Don't carry or play transistor or tape recorder inside the National Parks.

9. Jungle safari trips are accompanied by naturalist are allowed into the park at fixed timings. Wildlife safari timing in Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Park is just like most parks in the country. Timings for entry into, and exit from, the park vary according to the season. In winters, due to the shorter duration of daylight hours, the morning entry time is later and evening exit time is earlier.

National Park remains open for visitors from 15th October to 30th June of every year 

1. All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general wellbeing.

2. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

There are some necessary details which required for safari reservation:

1. Full Name of every visitor
2. Age & Gender
3. Nationality
4. Any Identity proof details like Passport, Driving License, PAN Card or Voter
5. I D Card. Visitor is required to carry the same ID proof in original at the time of visiting the national park.

Risk and Liabilities - Clients shall agree that Trekveda shall not be held responsible for consequences of natural calamities, weather condition, failure of scheduled airline, detention and delays due to quarantine, strike, theft, force major, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulation, accident by aircraft, car, bus or any other form of transport relating to program schedule. The travellers understand that such situations may occur, and we will inform you of the situation as soon as we have knowledge of it. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require, all additional cost occurs in such case will fully be borne by the travellers. Also, Trekveda shall not be held responsible for any loss/damage of your personal belongings.

1. What should I wear in Kanha National Park?
Light clothing is recommended in October and March as the days are warmer. Bright colors can disturb the animals therefore clothes should ideally be in muted jungle shades of beige, brown, green and such like, preferably neutral and earth colored clothes.

2. Which zone is best in Kanha?
For Kanha - Kanha and Mukki zones are the best

3. Which is better Bandhavgarh or Kanha?
Both have their own priority and specialty. The park hours are shorter at Bandhavgarh. Both parks have a "tiger show" in the morning.

4. What is Kanha National Park famous for?
The park has a significant population of the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopards, the sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog.

5. How far is Kanha from Jabalpur?

6. What are the safari timings in Bandhavgarh?
Safari timings depend on the sunrise and sunset time. Morning safari starting at sunrise is of 5 hours, and afternoon safari starts 3 hours before sunset, until sun goes down. The exact times vary every month as the time of sunrise and sunset keeps changing as the year goes by. Full day safari starts 15 minutes before sunrise and goes until 15 minutes past sunset.

7. How is the weather in Bandhavgarh?
The morning safaris start go get a bit nippy by early November, and in December the winter sets in. The morning temperature by the 3rd week of December are about 3-5 degree Celsius, while the day temperatures are about 18-23 degrees Celsius. Winters continue till mid-Feb. Days start to get warm from early March, and by end of March the mercury touches about 40 degree Celsius. By May the day temperature touches 42-44 degree Celsius.

8. Is walking allowed in Bandhavgarh national park?
No, strictly no walking is permitted in the Bandhavgarh Tiger reserve. You are not allowed to get off the vehicle as well. There are only a couple of designated spots where you can get off the vehicle. The guides in your Jeep will let you know of the same.

9. Are the Tiger safaris safe?
Yes, the Tiger safaris are safe. You must follow the rules and regulations of the park. However, Any harm done to any living being of the forest is a punishable act, and can land you in prison.
