Day 01: Arrival In Manali and Sightseeing

Today on your arrival in Manali meet and received by our company representative / driver and transfer to the booked accommodation.  Normal Check in time at the hotels are 1200 Hrs,  some time for rest and relax at the hotel, later in the after we proceed for half day sightseeing of Old Manali where we will first visit  Hadimba Devi Temple. After getting the blessings of the Goddess, we head towards the Vashisht village and temple, experience and enjoy the most mesmerizing Vashisht Hot Water Springs. Inhale the medicinal air at the hot water spring, in the evening we drive back Indulge in a shopping spree at the Manali market at the mall. You can buy amazing souvenirs and gifts while enjoying lip-smacking snacks. Conclude your noon trip at the Tibetan Monastery. You will get a vivid knowledge about the age-old culture and tradition about the historical Monasteries of the country. Thereafter return back to your hotel.

Day 02: In Manali – Exploring this beautiful town in the Foothills of Himalayas 

Today morning wake up to a refreshing Tea / coffee and a delicious breakfast at the hotel and thereafter we proceed to visit Solang Valley or Rohtang Pass. Rohtang, also known as snow point is the network that connects Manali to Lahul and Spiti. Get stunning views of the glaciers and snow-blanketed mountains at the Solang Valley. Located at close proximity of 13 km from Manali, it is a perfect place for skiing during the winter season. The snow heaps will bring out the child in you as you can enjoy slipping and sliding on it. However, please note that visiting these attractions are subject to availability on the day of your visit.
Note:-
According to the National Green Tribunal, there’s a specific number of vehicles that can enter Rohtang pass per day. If the count exceeds 1200, you will not be allowed inside. So, in this case, visitors are advised to wait at the entrance and pay an extra amount to get inside. Also, a permit fee of 550 INR is to be paid directly at the time of travel.

Day 3: Enjoyable day tour to Naggar Castle

Morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel and start a day excursion to Naggar. The first spot that’s waiting to surprise you is the Kullu-Naggar castle. Sneak peek about Naggar Castle This mesmerizing castle will amuse you with its grandeur in all possible ways. If you are an art lover, make your way to the Naggar Castle art gallery. The gallery showcases stunning artworks by famous artists from India and other countries. Also, the place is every visitor’s favorite because of the breathtaking view of the forested hills of the Beas Valley. With a combination of European and Himalayan architecture, the place is also a great spot for photographers. The castle has now been converted into an authentic heritage resort. This is indeed a great initiative by Himachal Tourism. Secondly, you will be visiting the Shawl Factory. Post that gets the blessings of Gayatri Mata at the Gauri Shankar Temple and Jagatsukh Shiva Temple. Take an exciting and thrilling river rafting trip or enjoy the same at a distance depending on time constraints.

Day 04: Departure from Manali

Medical Kit- Basic medicines, Carry antiseptics, antibiotics, antacids and painkillers along with inhalers and pain relief sprays, ointment to avoid any last moment mood spoiler.

Full sleeves waterproof jackets- It depends on the season you are visiting. Although, you would need light woolens round the year but you need to carry heavy ones if you are visiting between Novembers to March. Water repellent jackets would keep you safe from unseasonal rains.

Trekking Shoes/boots- These may help you while trekking and boots are basic necessities to carry for such destination. Although, you can rent it here but it’s always wise to carry your own.

Moisturizers- If you have dry skin, better you carry two bottles of your brand.

Extra bag- For picking up your dirty wears and keeps it away from the woolens.

Umbrella- If it’s a monsoon, umbrella is a must carry. It rains.

Wearables:- Goggles For protection from sun and UV-rays, Sunscreen Lotion with high SPF(30 or above), Mustard Oil (for applying in nostrils as it can become dry and painful due to dry and cold winds) Lip Balm/ Vaseline, Gloves for bikers, Mufler, Caps, Water/Wind proof jacket.

Other necessary stuff:- Torch with extra cells, Swiss Knife (if u have any or u want to carry), Water bottle (NOTE: Lots of water to be carried), Extra bag for shopping.

Eatable stuff:- Carry Glucose, chocolates, Nuts and other stuff which u want to carry. NOTE: Appetite will reduce due to AMS

Toiletries:- Face wash/Paper Soap, Tooth brush/ Tooth paste, Wet tissue/Dry tissue, Moisturizer / Comb

Here is what the tour fee includes:

1. Accommodation – Accommodation will be provided in standard category hotel, using standard room on triple sharing basis, in case of non-availability of rooms at the time of reservation, we shall accommodate our guests in alternative similar category hotel. In case any clients want to stay in the mentioned hotel, we will be happy to upgrade the room category which may result in additional cost to be borne by the client.

2. Meals – Kindly go through the detailed itinerary, as meals will be provided according to the mentions in each respective itinerary (meals are provided on fixed menu on buffet basis).

3. Transportation – We generally use transportation depending on number of person booked for the tour under following category:-
For 2-4 Person – Sedan car in AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 05 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Toyota Innova / Xylo Car AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 06-08 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Tempo Traveller 
For 09-12 Person – Tempo Traveller 
For 13+ - Mini Bus / 26 seated tempo 

Note:  Transport Fuels, toll, parking, and State tax are included.
a. In case of half day – It will be only 40 Kms / 4 Hrs 
b. In case of full day – it will be only 80 Kms / 8 Hrs  
c. There will be per kms / per hour additional charges crossing the above limit.

4. Guide – The Cost include fee of only local city / monuments guide only for sightseeing (if we required we will be happy to hire accompanied guide however at additional cost.)

5. For Wildlife Tour – Jungle Safaris are organized in Canter Safari on sharing basis (if required exclusive safari on non-sharing basis, we will be happy to book the same using Open Jeeps for all Jungle Safari, however at additional costs.) 

6. Forest Permits and Permission – While in National Parks / Wild life Sanctuary, all forest permits and fees are included.

Terms and Conditions

Confirmation Policy:

1. Payment can be done in parts.

2. After making your advance payment, you will get a confirmation email.

3. Once you make the 100% payment for your booking, you'll get the booking voucher containing all the information about your tour.

Payment Terms Policy:

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 15 days before the date of travel.

Cancellation Policy & Charges

Cancelling a trip is like a real pain when you have been dreaming of it since a long time. But, to resolve it and to lesser your disappointment. We have a user-friendly cancellation policy for you. If you or any member of your group wants to cancel a booking, then you should notify us as soon as possible. You can notify us by phone, email or in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received by us and will be effective from the date on which we receive it. If one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price of those still travelling and you will be liable to pay this increase. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:
1. If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
2. If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 
3. If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 75.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 
4. If cancellation are made 0 days to 7 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 

How to cancel your Tour?
We don't want you to get into any situation where you need to cancel your tour, but sometimes things don't work the way we want. So no worries we have a most comfortable way for you.

1. Drop an email on cancel@trekveda.com.

2. Inform your tour expert about your cancellation and a reason for the same. Then they will help you with the futhure process.

What is Tour Voucher?

Tour voucher is your credit amount at Trekveda that you can redeem by tour in future with us within 1 year.

How to use Tour Voucher?
You can get in touch with our tour expert on given numbers 9821325153/54/56. They will help you in the redemption of your voucher.

Voucher Terms and condition:-

1. The vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
2. Unused values will not be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.
3. The vouchers can be redeemed against any Tour / Trek operated by Trekveda, the rates will be applicable as on day.
4. The vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund.
5. The Voucher can be transferred to your family members / friends, at a reduction of 45%.
6. The voucher can be redeemed for any Tour / Trek before 15 days of travel date, the base rates as on date will be applicable.
7. The voucher can be extended  30 days prior expiry date, for 03 months, 06 Month and 12 Month with reduction of 30%, 45%, 60% respectively.
8. Incase tour / trek amount exceeds the value of voucher, balance amount  must be paid by online banking, Google Pay and Paytm.
9. Trekveda reserves the right to cancel a voucher if we deem such action necessary i.e. after expiry date.
10. Trekveda can vary or replace these conditions from time to time (including to introduce new fees)

Note- The voucher is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable.

Other Tour Policies

1. Trekveda shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary, Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by “Force Majeure”, meaning any event beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, government action; industrial dispute; lock closure; natural or other disaster; nuclear incident; terrorist activity; chemical or biological disaster; closure of airports; fire; flood; drought; re-scheduling; or cancellation of flights or alteration of the airline; or aircraft type by an airline and unavoidable technical problems and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control

2. If  there  is  any  unprecedented  hike  in  the  cost  of  transport,  Local  Union,  Government, Air (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation  made by any parties other than Trekveda. It will also affect the cost. The additional unprecedented cost will be the responsibility of the Client.

3. Please  note  the  quote for these programs has  been  quoted  and  calculated  as  per  the  current  tax  structure,  any changes/ amendments, increase in the tax structure, which will be imposed by the government of India, will affect the quotation and this will be additional cost to be borne by the clients.

4. We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

5. The prices shown on this website are per paying person. We reserve the right to amend the price of unsold holidays at any time and correct errors in the prices of confirmed holidays. 

6. If you are forced to return home early and cut your holiday short we cannot refund the cost of any travel arrangements you have not used. If you cut short your holiday and return home early in circumstances where you have no reasonable cause for complaint about the standard of accommodation and services provided, we will not offer you any refund for that part of your holiday not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. 

7. We start planning your trip many months in advance. Whilst it is unlikely that we will have to cancel your holiday or make changes to it, occasionally we may have to do so, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We also reserve the right to make changes to or correct errors in our tanneries and on our website. If we make an insignificant change to your holiday, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you or your travel agent as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure but we will have no liability to you.

8. For wildlife tours obtain a valid permit before entering the wildlife reserve Park. Don't carry cigarette or match box During the Tiger Safari. Don't smoke or light fire, it can cause forest fire. Don't carry or play transistor or tape recorder inside the National Parks.

9. Jungle safari trips are accompanied by naturalist are allowed into the park at fixed timings. Wildlife safari timing in Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Park is just like most parks in the country. Timings for entry into, and exit from, the park vary according to the season. In winters, due to the shorter duration of daylight hours, the morning entry time is later and evening exit time is earlier.

National Park remains open for visitors from 15th October to 30th June of every year 

1. All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general wellbeing.

2. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

There are some necessary details which required for safari reservation:

1. Full Name of every visitor
2. Age & Gender
3. Nationality
4. Any Identity proof details like Passport, Driving License, PAN Card or Voter
5. I D Card. Visitor is required to carry the same ID proof in original at the time of visiting the national park.

Risk and Liabilities - Clients shall agree that Trekveda shall not be held responsible for consequences of natural calamities, weather condition, failure of scheduled airline, detention and delays due to quarantine, strike, theft, force major, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulation, accident by aircraft, car, bus or any other form of transport relating to program schedule. The travellers understand that such situations may occur, and we will inform you of the situation as soon as we have knowledge of it. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require, all additional cost occurs in such case will fully be borne by the travellers. Also, Trekveda shall not be held responsible for any loss/damage of your personal belongings.

1. Which is the best time to travel to Manali?
Manali can be planned round the year, depend on you what time you like as summer is all about greenery but if you wish to see snow then prefer time from December to January. 

2. How many days are required for a vacation to Manali? 
At least 4 days so you can enjoy the scenic spots in and around Manali. 

3. When does it snow in Manali?
In Manali, you might see snow in December or January although Rohtang Pass is snow-covered in October itself.

4. Is Manali a family destination?
Yes, there are several family oriented activities you can enjoy here, from trekking and hiking to camping and enjoying snow games during winter.

5. What is the distance from Manali to Malana village?
It is around 83kms, Manala village is known to be the most secretive village. 

6. Is Manali good for Honeymoon?
Yes, Manali is a wonderful place for honeymoon in late November to February is the best time to be in Manali. It is one of those places where you can find snow easily in winter months.
You get an additional benefit of the heavy discounts, being off-season topped with less number of tourists. Finally, you get to see similar love birds thronging the region of Manali and Solang Valley.

7. What time to avoid during Manali trip?
Avoid holidaying in October when the rush is at peak again, and people flood the Kullu Manali towns It is also the Dusherra Festival time in Kullu Valley with which also valley is under heavy tourist rush.

8. Road Conditions Manali?
The Road condition is good and pretty much in shape so one won’t be having any trouble during the trip. 

9. Is liquor and smoking allowed in Manali? 
Yes, Liquor and smoking is allowed, however if you are planning a trek or high altitude trips. So it is recommended not to have any of these because it can create physical problems such as lack of oxygen that can literally ruin your Manali holiday. 

10. Which mobile network works in Manali?
You can use any mobile network in Manali until you are not going for a high altitude trekking or tour.
