The Archipelago in the northeastern Indian Ocean, Andaman & Nicobar is an exciting spot for the tourists. The Place is an amalgamation of beaches, islands, lagoons, and the astonishing history with amusing Architecture. Port Blair, the capital city of Andaman & Nicobar, is the real gateway to the Archipelago. The city is known for its history of Kaala Pani jail, i.e. Cellular Jail where Indian freedom fighters were exiled during the British era.

Itinerary : Havelock and Port Blair

Day 01: Arrive Portbalir - Carbyns Cove visit & Sound & Light show at Cellular Jail

Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight and transfer to hotel. Then proceed to visit Carbyns Cove Beach (the only beach in Port Blair) to relax and unwind. In the evening proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - (at 1800 hrs or 1900 Hrs, depending on light and sound show ticket availability) where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.

Day 02: Portbalir- Havelock by Ferry and visit Radhanagar Beach at Havelock 

Early morning departure by ferry from Port Blair to Havelock. The ferry takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hrs to reach Havelock. On arrival proceed to selected hotel and in the evening visit Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine. Return to hotel to relax and unwind.

Day 03: In Havelock: Day at Leisure (Option: Excursion to Elephant Beach) 

Spend the day at leisure and enjoying the beach at your resort at Havelock. 
Optional- If you choose to opt for this excursion, the vehicle will be with you in early morning hrs to take you to the jetty, from where you will embark on the most memorable snorkeling trip. Just 25 min by Boat, this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. 
Note: Excursion to Elephant beach will be at additional cost, the trip may be changed to light house subject to weather conditions and visibility (Do note that incase guest is delayed for Elephant Beach No refund will be offered if the boat has left)

Today we departure from Havelock island, in time we will be transferred to jetty to board the ferry for Portbalir, on arrival in Portbalir meet and received by the driver and transfer to the booked hotel.

Here is what the tour fee includes:

1. Accommodation – Accommodation will be provided in standard category hotel, using standard room on triple sharing basis, in case of non-availability of rooms at the time of reservation, we shall accommodate our guests in alternative similar category hotel. In case any clients want to stay in the mentioned hotel, we will be happy to upgrade the room category which may result in additional cost to be borne by the client.

2. Meals – Kindly go through the detailed itinerary, as meals will be provided according to the mentions in each respective itinerary (meals are provided on fixed menu on buffet basis).

3. Transportation – We generally use transportation depending on number of person booked for the tour under following category:-
For 2-4 Person – Sedan car in AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 05 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Toyota Innova / Xylo Car AC in Plains & Non AC in Hills 
For 06-08 Person – Bolero / Sumo / Tempo Traveller 
For 09-12 Person – Tempo Traveller 
For 13+ - Mini Bus / 26 seated tempo 

Note:  Transport Fuels, toll, parking, and State tax are included.
a. In case of half day – It will be only 40 Kms / 4 Hrs 
b. In case of full day – it will be only 80 Kms / 8 Hrs  
c. There will be per kms / per hour additional charges crossing the above limit.

4. Guide – The Cost include fee of only local city / monuments guide only for sightseeing (if we required we will be happy to hire accompanied guide however at additional cost.)

5. For Wildlife Tour – Jungle Safaris are organized in Canter Safari on sharing basis (if required exclusive safari on non-sharing basis, we will be happy to book the same using Open Jeeps for all Jungle Safari, however at additional costs.) 

6. Forest Permits and Permission – While in National Parks / Wild life Sanctuary, all forest permits and fees are included.

Cancellation Policy & Charges

Cancelling a trip is like a real pain when you have been dreaming of it since a long time. But, to resolve it and to lesser your disappointment. We have a user-friendly cancellation policy for you. If you or any member of your group wants to cancel a booking, then you should notify us as soon as possible. You can notify us by phone, email or in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received by us and will be effective from the date on which we receive it. If one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price of those still travelling and you will be liable to pay this increase. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:
1. Cancelling more than 45 days Deposited amount Only 
2. Cancelling between 44-30 days of tour date 20% Only 
3. Cancelling between 29-20 days of the tour date 30% Only 
4. Cancelling between 19-15 days of the tour date 50% 
5. Cancelling between  14-8 days of the tour date 70% 
6. Cancelling within 7 days of the tour date 100% 

How to cancel your Tour?
We don't want you to get into any situation where you need to cancel your tour, but sometimes things don't work the way we want. So no worries we have a most comfortable way for you.

1. Drop an email on cancel@trekveda.com.

2. Inform your trek coordinator about your cancellation and a reason for the same. Then they will help you with the futhure process.

What is Tour Voucher?

Tour voucher is your credit amount at Trekveda that you can redeem by tour in future with us within 1 year.

How to use Tour Voucher?
You can get in touch with our sales executive on given numbers 9821325153/54/56. They will help you in the redemption of your voucher.

Voucher Terms and condition:-

1. The vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
2. Unused values will not be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.
3. The vouchers can be redeemed against any Tour / Trek operated by Trekveda, the rates will be applicable as on day.
4. The vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund.
5. The Voucher can be transferred to your family members / friends, at a reduction of 45%.
6. The voucher can be redeemed for any Tour / Trek before 15 days of travel date, the base rates as on date will be applicable.
7. The voucher can be extended  30 days prior expiry date, for 03 months, 06 Month and 12 Month with reduction of 30%, 45%, 60% respectively.
8. Incase tour / trek amount exceeds the value of voucher, balance amount  must be paid by online banking, Google Pay and Paytm.
9. Trekveda reserves the right to cancel a voucher if we deem such action necessary i.e. after expiry date.
10. Trekveda can vary or replace these conditions from time to time (including to introduce new fees)

Note- The voucher is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable.

Other Tour Policies

1. Trekveda shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary, Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by “Force Majeure”, meaning any event beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, government action; industrial dispute; lock closure; natural or other disaster; nuclear incident; terrorist activity; chemical or biological disaster; closure of airports; fire; flood; drought; re-scheduling; or cancellation of flights or alteration of the airline; or aircraft type by an airline and unavoidable technical problems and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control

2. If  there  is  any  unprecedented  hike  in  the  cost  of  transport,  Local  Union,  Government, Air (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation  made by any parties other than Trekveda. It will also affect the cost. The additional unprecedented cost will be the responsibility of the Client.

3. Please  note  the  quote for these programs has  been  quoted  and  calculated  as  per  the  current  tax  structure,  any changes/ amendments, increase in the tax structure, which will be imposed by the government of India, will affect the quotation and this will be additional cost to be borne by the clients.

4. We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

5. The prices shown on this website are per paying person. We reserve the right to amend the price of unsold holidays at any time and correct errors in the prices of confirmed holidays. 

6. If you are forced to return home early and cut your holiday short we cannot refund the cost of any travel arrangements you have not used. If you cut short your holiday and return home early in circumstances where you have no reasonable cause for complaint about the standard of accommodation and services provided, we will not offer you any refund for that part of your holiday not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. 

7. We start planning your trip many months in advance. Whilst it is unlikely that we will have to cancel your holiday or make changes to it, occasionally we may have to do so, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We also reserve the right to make changes to or correct errors in our tanneries and on our website. If we make an insignificant change to your holiday, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you or your travel agent as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure but we will have no liability to you.

8. For wildlife tours obtain a valid permit before entering the wildlife reserve Park. Don't carry cigarette or match box During the Tiger Safari. Don't smoke or light fire, it can cause forest fire. Don't carry or play transistor or tape recorder inside the National Parks.

9. Jungle safari trips are accompanied by naturalist are allowed into the park at fixed timings. Wildlife safari timing in Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Park is just like most parks in the country. Timings for entry into, and exit from, the park vary according to the season. In winters, due to the shorter duration of daylight hours, the morning entry time is later and evening exit time is earlier.

National Park remains open for visitors from 15th October to 30th June of every year 

1. All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general wellbeing.

2. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

There are some necessary details which required for safari reservation:

1. Full Name of every visitor
2. Age & Gender
3. Nationality
4. Any Identity proof details like Passport, Driving License, PAN Card or Voter
5. I D Card. Visitor is required to carry the same ID proof in original at the time of visiting the national park.

Risk and Liabilities - Clients shall agree that Trekveda shall not be held responsible for consequences of natural calamities, weather condition, failure of scheduled airline, detention and delays due to quarantine, strike, theft, force major, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulation, accident by aircraft, car, bus or any other form of transport relating to program schedule. The travellers understand that such situations may occur, and we will inform you of the situation as soon as we have knowledge of it. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require, all additional cost occurs in such case will fully be borne by the travellers. Also, Trekveda shall not be held responsible for any loss/damage of your personal belongings.

1. Are tourists allowed in Andaman?
Yes tourists are allowed in Andaman, but in some areas of it. No tourists can visit other areas than what is planned for them. 

2. Is Passport required for Andaman?
For Indians: there is no need of passport/visa/permission is required. For Foreigners: A passport is required with an Indian Visa to enter India. This is also applicable to foreigners entering Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

3. Do we get alcohol in Andaman?
Yes Alcohol is available in Andaman and Nicobar Island, there are government owned liquor shops. However, in some places it is restricted but not in all. 

4. What should I wear in Andaman?
Wear light cotton clothing and loose dress will be a better choice. Wear comfortable open-style shoes for beach activities. Pack thicker clothing for evening and night activities. A simple cap or hat would keep you away from the sun.

5. Is Andaman safe?
Yes, being a tourist place Andaman is safe; it has a good woman safety create along with the safer environment and roads. 

6. Does Indian SIM work in Andaman?
Yes, Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL works there but Reliance Jio and Tata Docomo don't work in the Andaman Islands.

7. Is Andaman good for honeymoon?
Andaman is a peaceful beauty, with its white sandy beaches, blue-green waters and tropical forests. In India Andaman is one of the best places for honeymoon. 

8. Is there an ATM at Port Blair & Havelock?
In port Blair you get quite few ATMS but in Havelock you get two three Atm’s. However it will be better you carry your cash or credit cards.

9. Is there a night life in Andaman?
Although some hotels of Andaman offer bars but all in all Andaman has no as such night life. People go to bed early foe wakeup and work next morning as the tourism is the biggest factor service provider’s needs to wake up early.

10. How expensive are meals in Andaman?
The price of a meal depends entirely on where you eat and what you order. A nice quaint restaurant will cost you between Rs.300 to Rs.500 per person depending on what is ordered. Eating at the local village market will be much cheaper and most islands have a number of small eateries run by locals that work out easy on the pocket.
Sea food is more expensive in the Andamans compared to the mainland due to heavy demand and less supply.
